According to Selangor FC head coach Kim Pan-gon, he was proud of the players’ determination to bounce back from previous matches.

First of all, I would like to congratulate the players for bouncing back quickly and proving that Selangor FC never gives up and always fights for the club. The commitment shown today is very meaningful, especially with the strong support from Selangor fans who created a fantastic atmosphere,” he said.

“As usual, the first 10 to 15 minutes were quite challenging and we gave the opponent one chance, but we managed the game well, created several opportunities, and opened the scoring through Kim Ji-ho, who also provided an assist, while Chrigor Moraes delivered an excellent performance with a hat-trick. After some difficult matches recently, the players showed great spirit and determination to bounce back, and there are many positive things we can take forward,” he added.

Next week, Selangor FC will host Penang FC for Matchweek 24 of the 2025/26 Malaysia Super League at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya on Saturday, 2 May at 9:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to fill the stadium and get their tickets here.
